Filigree steel grid towers as replacement for the chimneys of the former boiler house of the „Speicherstadt“ that were damaged during the war. Both towers are made up of a flat steel rod netting (35 × 70 m) with each one connecting to horizontal rings that are located at every two meters. The resulting triangular mesh of the towers provides a stable steel grid shell, which was positioned on the existing tower stumps (brickwork).
