The design of this 164 m long Danube Bridge is characterized by a cable supported slender concrete deck with the walkways following the alignment of the cables. This structure combines a concrete frame with inclined struts and a stress ribbon. The foot paths are separated from the deck and rest on smaller cables arranged on either side of the main cables whilst the automobile traffic uses the upper level.
