The prestressed cable net that is elliptical in its layout – with main axes of 88 and 67 meters resp. – is suspended from an arch with a span of 104 meters. The cable net for the ice-rink tent is of double-stranded cables and pressed-on clamps at intervals of
75 cm. The cable net bears a wooden lattice and is covered with a translucent membrane. This combination of different materials makes the inner hall appear light and large.
