With respect to the historic situation the classical stadium building was peserved. The context and the basic geometry was kept and a world class facility was created with new facilities for athletes, spectators, media, VIP people and the new roof.
The roof with its opening on the long axis is the eye catcher and when it‘s illuminated it’s a wonderful venue for all kind of events. Soccer, track and field as well as concerts are perfectly hosted here.
