schlaich bergermann partner is honoured with a third consecutive Steel Engineering Award on the bridge category from the Stahlbau-Ingenieurpreis, a prestigious German award presented to engineering projects that achieve outstanding structural design, and a commendation in the same category.
The winning project is the Railway Bridge across the Aller River, near Verden, in Germany, built in collaboration with Max Bögl and SSF Ingenieure completed in 2015 for the DB Netz AG. The commendation is for the Passerelle de la Paix, in Lyon, France, a collaboration with Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes.
