On March 15, 2010 in Dresden the Footbridge Sassnitz was awarded the ‘Deutscher Brückenbaupreis 2010’ in the category Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridges. The prize was handed over by Jan Mücke, Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs.
