Together with the architects at gmp (von Gerkan, Marg and Partners) schaich bergermann and partners have won the 2010 German Steel Construction Prize for their Greenpoint Stadium in Cape Town. In particular, the jury praised its “outstanding synthesis of functionality, sculptural quality as a standalone design, and an integration of landscape-enriching urban development in a large modern stadium.” Additional information on the stadium can be found at the projects area of our homepage.
