Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg, which we designed and built together with Boogertman Urban Edge and Partners for the 2010 Soccer World Cup, has been selected as the Overall Winner at this year’s LEAF Awards. The jury lauded Soccer City Stadium as a whole while praising the stadium’s architecture in terms of urban development and its historical and societal context and singling out the very unique façade composed of varying red-brown elements.
