On September 24th at the annual SolarPACES Conference, schlaich bergermann und partner received the SolarPACES 2010 Technology Innovation Award. The prize honours innovative achievements that lead to significant advancements in solar-thermal power plant technology. In addition to a more favourable price-performance ratio, the advancements above all include the improvement of individual plant components, a longer lifespan and further increased environmental compatibility. The team led by Wolfgang Schiel, who for many years has directed our activities in the field of renewable energies, won the prize for its years of continuous and very successful work at the EuroTrough collector.
