This Thursday, Knut Goeppert will hold a lecture titled „Bauten für den Sport“ (Buildings for Sports) at the Institute of Design and Construction (iek) of the University of Stuttgart. With schlaich bergermann und partner he has been responsible for the design of more than 25 stadia around the world, among them stadia for the FIFA World Cups in South Korea, Germany and South Africa. He is currently working on sports buildings for the Olympics 2012 in London, the EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine and the FIFA Worldcup 2014 in Brazil.
