The Horizon Field Hamburg was opened on schedule on the 27th of April and is now welcoming visitors until September. The project is an art installation by the British artist Antony Gormley. The 25m x 50m suspended platform weighs about 70 tons, swinging from the roof of the Deichtorhalle in Hamburg. The main structure consists of steel beams supported by tensioned cable trusses. The floor structure is a polyurethane resin coated wood construction. Our services range from static and structural design to execution-ready planning, up to project management during all phases of the project.
