The site 26-28, Saarbrücker Straße in Berlin-Pankow has a total surface of around 1,800 m². There, the seven-storey main-building is attached to the existing residential buildings 25 and 29/30, Saarbrücker Straße. The scheme divides the main building into three divisions. The basement level is used as an underground car park with areas for building equipment and storage rooms. On the ground floor the design features flats and space for bicycles and prams. Apart from that, the remaining space on the ground floor has been dedicated to retail. All upper floors are used for residential areas. The building comprises brickwork and a reinforced concrete structure. It has one basement and six upper levels, plus a staggered top floor.
