The KONTAS parabolic trough test facility is a steel framework construction which rotates on circular tracks. It is designed for testing parabolic trough collector elements up to 20 m length. KONTAS can rotate the collector into any desired angle relative to the sun, simulating specified solar radiation conditions. It is used to facilitate measurements for the performance of the collector.
