The hybrid power plant uses both natural gas and solar power to produce a total output of 150 MW electrical power. The solar field consists of trough collectors with a total mirror surface of 130,000 square meters. The collectors consist of a steel framework construction with attached curved glass mirrors. The hybrid power plant can operate 24 hours a day.
