A prototype Dish/Stirling-system was erected on an exposed location of the State Garden Show site in Pforzheim. The concentrator was constructed using metal membrane technology and hinged along the polar axis. It was equipped with an improved version of the Stirling motor and a first simple semi-automatic system control was developed. During the exhibition, the unit was operated continuously for half a year.
