schlaich bergermann partner’s office in Stuttgart has an opportunity for a BIM Coordinator for immediate hire!
As a motivated team player, you share our enthusiasm for design and construction. You will contribute to the structural analysis and the engineering of fascinating international projects, with an emphasis on special and lightweight structures.
You will be responsible for the coordination of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in specific projects, ensuring the maintenance of the information workflow during the project lifetime. As BIM Coordinator, you will continuously gather relevant input from the different project team members. You will assure that the project BIM requirements are fulfilled, and that the project complies with internal and external quality standards. You will work closely with and report to the BIM Manager, and help to ensure the maintenance and further development of the company standards. To share best practices and project specific lessons learned, you will assist with internal workshops and trainings.

Along with this, in your daily project work you will review project BIM documents, such as BEP, and internal guidelines. You will support the design team and make sure that modelling procedures, clash detection, content creation and output production are coordinated and in accordance with the BIM requirements.



To be considered for this role you must 


  • Be able to legally work in Germany, without any kind of restrictions
  • Have a completed academic degree as a Civil Engineer or Architect and have undertaken further trainings in BIM
  • Have 2-3 years of experience with BIM in civil engineering using CAD / BIM software (particularly Revit); software skills in Navisworks, Solibri and Dynamo are a plus
  • Have strong communication skills and enjoy team-based working
  • Be fluent in English
