Senior Bridge Project Manager

schlaich bergermann partner are currently seeking a Senior Bridge Project Manager in our growing New York City office. 

 

 

Job Duties:

  • Plan bridge engineering project budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate with clients and team members to plan work schedules and ensure that the appropriate manpower is available in accordance with project timelines and goals.
  • Conduct preliminary engineering, detailed design, material procurement, and construction of bridge projects.
  • Coordinate employee training, inventory and supply chain control to ensure materials are available in accordance with project plans and civil engineering safety protocols.
  • Review reports and data to ensure records are maintained in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Liaise with technical staff and senior management on project status and budget adherence.
  • Ensure maintenance and support of tools, design reworks, and technical reworks.

New York, NY

 

 

Hours/Week:

40 (Full-time)

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or foreign equivalent) and 2 years of related experience, including designing and providing construction engineering support for rail, vehicular, pedestrian, cable supported, and steel/concrete composite bridges, as well as experience with Sofistik software, AASHTO and Eurocode design codes, and Hivoss, Setra, and ASCE 19-10 design guidelines required.
  • Frequent international travel required.
