Final event “Alles nachhaltig?! – Faktencheck Bauwende”
On Tuesday, January 14, at 7 PM, the final event in the lecture series Jour Fixe “Alles nachhaltig?! – Faktencheck Bauwende” will be organized by the Department of Architecture at ABK Stuttgart in cooperation with the Architektur-Forum Baden-Württemberg, led by Knut Göppert (Board Member at sbp) and Achim Söding (Partner at Auer Weber).
The building sector is facing major challenges. There is an urgent need to manifest the building turnaround in the next one to two decades. This forms the basis for a sustainable transformation of the built environment.
Against this backdrop, many stake holders are using the label “sustainability” for their products and actions. The lecture and discussion series examines the current status – the fact check. At three evening events, representatives from research and construction will present their views and contributions to the transformation in the construction industry. The aim is to provide a fact-based orientation, highlight obstacles to implementation and, on the other hand, use successful examples to illustrate the innovative ways in which the “building turnaround” can be achieved.
For this event, Ann Kathrin Goerke, project manager at Concular and DGNB auditor, and Margit Sichrovsky, architect and founder of LXSY ARCHITEKTEN present their perspective on circular planning and constructing.
