We are delighted to announce the opening of the long-awaited Boulevard Aéreo Parque Valongo. It provides an important, barrier-free link between the historic city center of Santos and the newly developed Valongo Park on the banks of the Rio Pedreira.
The opening of the pedestrian bridge is an important step toward revitalizing the port area. where restored warehouses will be transformed into a vibrant center for leisure, culture, and gastronomy. The slim and elegant design ensures the barrier-free access via ramps. The central bridge segment, constructed as a filigree steel structure, spans Rua Antonio Prado and a railway line.
With its panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding cityscape, the pedestrian bridge will become an urban space that invites invites both residents and tourists to observe and experience the city’s maritime heritage.
