The finissage of the traveling exhibition ‘Queens of Structure’ will take place in Potsdam on January 9. The exhibition presents 18 dedicated female civil engineers and role models from a wide range of engineering disciplines.
On this evening, two participants in the exhibitions will share insights into their work and discuss the opportunities, challenges and possibilities of civil engineering. The evening will be moderated by Nicole Parlow (structural engineer).
Dr. Ingelore Gaitzsch, who holds a doctorate in civil engineering, was involved in the development of the WBS 70 experimental building, among other things, and now runs an engineering office. Through her work as a network manager, she promotes exchange between specialist disciplines.
Anne Katrin Burghartz, structural engineer, brings experience from projects such as the wrapping of the Arc de Triomphe and the development of carbon cable net façades and combines engineering knowledge with creative design.
