Fraport Passenger Transportation System (PTS) connection to Terminal 3

© sbp/Tilo Behrmann

The aim of the project is to create an efficient and reliable connection between the new terminal and the existing terminals. This project is a key part of the airport’s expansion and will significantly improve capacity and passenger comfort.
As part of the project, a state-of-the-art track system will be developed and implemented to provide a fast and seamless connection. Special consideration will be given to the increasing number of passengers in order to minimize waiting times and optimize the transport flow.
The safety of passengers and staff is the top priority. State-of-the-art monitoring systems and comprehensive emergency plans are implemented to ensure the highest safety standards. The planning and design of the tracks take into account the topographical and infrastructural conditions of the airport to ensure optimal integration. After the construction and installation phase, comprehensive tests are carried out to ensure the functionality and safety of the system before it is officially put into operation.
