The Passarela Parque Valongo – also known as Boulevard Aéreo – is a slender, functional pedestrian bridge located in Santos, Brazil. It connects the historic city center with the newly developed Parque Valongo district by the port.
Starting from Rua XV de Novembro in the old town, a gently ascending concrete ramp leads between the buildings up to Rua Tuiuti. The central portion of the bridge, built as a lightweight steel structure, spans over Rua Antonio Prado and an active railway line. On the port side, the bridge branches into a staircase and an elliptical ramp that elegantly winds around it, providing full accessibility.
The new bridge serves as a vital urban link between two neighborhoods that are emerging as a vibrant hub for culture, gastronomy, and leisure. It plays a key role in the revitalization of the port area and the integration of old and new parts of the city.
