The new three-court sports hall with multifunctional space and grandstand is used for both school and club sports. Among other things, it is the new home venue for the higher-class handball players of TV Nellingen.
The two-storey building is being constructed using reinforced concrete construction in exposed concrete quality, consisting of load-bearing reinforced concrete walls and columns as well as point-supported and line-supported flat slabs. The roof slab above the grandstand area is constructed with cantilevered reinforced concrete beams, which serve as supports for the glulam roof trusses. The roof is covered with trapezoidal steel sheet profiles. The foundation of the hall is constructed with an elastically bedded floor slab.
