This pedestrian bridge is designed for low maintenance and durability. The V-shaped masts feature steel casting and support the fully locked steel cables at the top, which are characterized by specially shaped wires on the exterior to provide durability.
The cables are required to support a hybrid arrangement of tension and compression elements demanded for the 75 cm wide lateral hanging walkways that are directly supported by the suspension cables. Steel plate frames act as the hangers above and beneath the 4,5 m deck, whose load is essentially beared by the cables. It is made of untreated wood to blend easily into the natural surroundings.
