From the capital into the world
We have been located in Berlin since 2005. After Mike Schlaich was appointed professor at the Technical University of Berlin, Department of Design and Construction – Solid Structures, and was also recognized as a test engineer for structural analysis, the establishment of the office in Berlin was a logical step for us.
Since then, our team in the capital has grown continuously. Today, a multi-national team works on worldwide projects in bridge and building construction, on roofs, facades, towers and special structures. Our scope of work also includes the inspection of challenging structures.
Our focus is also on collaboration between university and practice with innovative joint research in cooperation between sbp and TU Berlin. Mike Schlaich’s professorship enables us to implement the latest developments and research results in our work.
Engineering and research are our passion
We are closely connected to Berlin’s local architectural scene, and also participate in projects at the regional and international level.
Our Berlin team handles all design phases, from the preliminary study and detailed design to installation consulting and supervision of construction. With our expertise and experience, we are optimally positioned to competently support every client and every design team throughout all service phases. As test engineers for structural stability, we examine the structural design and monitor the execution of construction projects both nationally and internationally.
