屋盖的结构设计严格遵循了对泳池和看台上方的尺寸和净高的要求，其内凹的形状可显著减小场馆的体积，从而减少供暖所需的能耗，悬链式形状有利于优化材料的利用效率。场馆内所有可见的结构杆件均采用木结构，可承受荷载高达800吨。
