We are pioneers
Since our founding in 1980, schlaich bergermann partner has been one of the pioneers in the field of lightweight, efficient and resource-saving structures. For 40 years now, we have been developing and implementing solar thermal systems for energy generation. We have accompanied the development of photovoltaics since the beginning and are now also globally active in this segment with a wide range of technologies.
Curiosity and courage drive us. Innovation at sbp covers a wide range: it involves sustainable developments in the construction sector, the development of better design tools, and the use of new building materials and construction methods.
We plan, advise and implement worldwide
For more than 40 years, our goal has been the design and construction of sustainable, sophisticated, and elegant structures. These range from long-span, lightweight roof structures, versatile bridges, slender towers, innovative high-rise buildings to pioneering solar power plants.
Our projects take us all over the world. That’s why we are where our projects are. We find this is the best way to design structures that are expertly adapted to their respective context and environment. Our locations in Stuttgart, Berlin, New York, São Paulo, Shanghai, Paris, Madrid, Los Angeles and Riyadh create this proximity.
