Digitally networked
The key to the success of any project is a well-organized and continuous flow of information between all parties involved. Digital tools for coordination and data management as well as Building Information Modeling (BIM) have been indispensable to schlaich bergermann partner’s interdisciplinary design work for many years. Starting in early project phases, we bring forth technically feasible design solutions.
We use digitial instruments in all design phases
• Interdisciplinary project coordination
• Internal and external model coordination
• Coordinated drawing creation
• Model-based construction simulation
• Model-based cost and quantity determination
• Model-based collision detection
• Model-based scheduling
BIM as an important component
We integrate BIM into all design phases and establish the processes as an integral part of our daily work. From the design to the planning and realization of bridges, buildings, special structures, facades and stadiums, BIM is driven by our team of experts for coordinated project work. Our wealth of experience is continually growing as a result of our collaboration with partners on major international projects, enabling our specialists to adapt effortlessly to various BIM standards.
Optimized workflow
When working on our architectural and structural designs, we use state-of-the-art software, parametric methods and highly automated processes to always find the most efficient structure and evaluate it for all possible loading scenarios.
To this end, we work with numerous internally developed tools that optimize areas of modeling, form-finding, design and construction, enabling the parametric interconnection of all phases and stakeholders, from design, through fabrication, to the finished structure.
