Where it all began

The history of schlaich bergermann partner began more than 40 years ago in the heart of Stuttgart. To this day, we have strong ties to the capital of Baden-Württemberg and have our headquarters here. At our Schwabstrasse location, we make optimal use of the synergies of our broad-based team and draw on the great diversity of our expertise. Our office is home to employees from the fields of structural and civil engineering, architecture, design, lighting design, physics, mathematics, computer science, administration and many more.

Networking knows
no boundaries

We attach great importance to networking among our office locations in order to mutually benefit from each other’s knowledge and experience. Our cross-location global workshop week therefore takes place regularly in Stuttgart. Here, our employees exchange ideas and learn from and with each other.

We have been located in Berlin since 2005. After Mike Schlaich was appointed professor at the Technical University of Berlin, Department of Design and Construction - Solid Structures, and was also recognized as a test engineer for structural analysis, the establishment of the office in Berlin was a logical step for us.

Our office in Madrid enables us to provide intensive support to our friends, planning partners and projects directly on site. In our centrally located office, opposite the Parque de El Retiro, our experienced team designs and plans innovative engineering structures. In addition to sports facilities, bridges and facades, building structures and roofing fill our project portfolio.

Los Angeles

With our growing presence in Los Angeles, we bring additional expertise to the West Coast of the United States for our clients and partners.
