schlaich bergermann partner has been involved in construction projects in Asia for over 20 years. The establishment of our office in Shanghai was the logical step for us to be present on site for our clients and design partners. The focus is on extraordinary and challenging architecture in the field of bridges, exhibition halls, sports facilities and high-rise buildings. We provide our expertise on all materials used in construction. With timber construction currently a focus of Asian architecture, we are happy to be one of the first offices to provide a professional depth of expertise with the material.

A strong team – with competence from Germany and China – is responsible for the projects on site and enables the best results thanks to the knowledge and experience of our worldwide developments.

The history of schlaich bergermann partner began more than 40 years ago in the heart of Stuttgart. To this day, we have strong ties to the capital of Baden-Württemberg and have our headquarters here.

Berlin

We have been located in Berlin since 2005. After Mike Schlaich was appointed professor at the Technical University of Berlin, Department of Design and Construction - Solid Structures, and was also recognized as a test engineer for structural analysis, the establishment of the office in Berlin was a logical step for us.
