Dr.Ing. Boris Reyher

Personal Profile

Boris Reyher has been working as a civil engineer at schlaich bergermann partner since 2007. He took over the management of the Berlin office in 2010, was promoted to the extended Board in 2014 and became Managing Director in 2023. After earning his doctorate in engineering in the field of numerical mechanics at TU Berlin, he gained valuable experience at Buro Happold in England. He completed his studies in civil engineering at TU Berlin and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

For sbp, he has planned significant national and international bridge projects, including the Footbridge at Königsstuhl and the Albert Canal bridge in Belgium. He specialized in innovative structures made of steel, timber, concrete, prestressed concrete and membrane and was responsible for projects including the Exzenterhaus Bochum, Upside Berlin, Urban garden on a bunker and Brunner Innovation Factory. Currently, he leads the inhouse R&D division and is significantly involved in the technology transfer from research to practice. As part of this, the pioneering Berlin projects REWE Revaler Straße and Betonoase youth center were planned and built in infra-lightweight concrete.
