The construction of the Olympic Aquatics Centre has reached an important milestone with the completion of the main glass facades.
At the moment, the corresponding roof cantilevers are being installed so that the external, surrounding sun protection can be fitted in the next few weeks.
Already in May, the roof was completed so that the installation of the photovoltaic system could begin. In the future, it will supply 25 percent of the aquatic center’s energy needs, making it one of the largest inner-city PV systems in France.
The building will be completed in March 2024, just in time for the opening of the Olympic Games.
