Rapid urbanization all around the world, especially in India, has put considerable pressure on the existing infrastructure. Bridges play a key role in infrastructure development and can become an important landmark for a city or a region at the same time. One such bridge is the “Signature Bridge” in Wazirabad, Delhi, which is a new landmark while helping to channel traffic flows. In this paper, the conceptual and structural design of this bridge is being described.
