db Ortstermin digital Nationalparkzentrum Ruhestein
“A touch of wilderness” – this is how the Ruhestein National Park Center in the Black Forest describes itself. The building structure reminds one of stacked tree trunks, complemented by a tall, inclined observation tower connected to a skywalk extending across. This distinctive timber construction is characterized by an original design language, particularly in the interior spaces.
Together with the architects from Sturm und Wartzeck and the luminaire manufacturer LTS Licht & Leuchten, sbp Managing Director Michael Werwigk will provide insights into the design process, the collaboration between the various planning offices and the challenges of the construction process – after all, the creation of the building was anything but easy.
