As part of the research project “Convertible Urban Shades”, which is part of the program “Innovations for Adaptation to Climate Change” of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, a public symposium will take place during the 2nd Stuttgart Science Festival.
What contribution can convertible shading structures make to stabilize the urban microclimate in public spaces during increasingly hot periods and thus counteract the effects of climate change?
In lectures and subsequent discussions, the potential and implementation possibilities of changeable tensile morphologies will be discussed by engineers, architects, experts and representatives of the public interest.
