Gujarat Solar One is a 25 MW parabolic trough power plant with thermal energy storage (TES). Its collector field is based on the EuroTrough design and consists of 100 loops respectively 4,800 solar collector elements (SCEs). One solar collector assembly (SCA) consists of 12 solar collector elements which are 12 m long each. The original design was adapted to higher local wind loads.
