With an elegant and sweeping motion, slender yet powerful, the bridge crosses the A8 Stuttgart - Munich Autobahn. It reflects the internal stresses, the melting of form and flow of forces, duly transposed into concrete. The about 70 m long and 6.5 m wide slab is supported by two inclined struts that amount to a raked frame, and is supported by tendons encased in concrete in the middle. Following the moment diagram the cross-section mid-span is reinforced parabolically and dissolved in a 5-web T-beam.
