The two-span bridge across the Werre river was built to connect the cycle paths at the dikes on each river bank. The two steel strips of the stress-ribbon structure are suspended between the abutments on the dikes and a reinforced concrete arch spanning across the river. The walkway consists of prefabricated slabs made of pre-stressed concrete that have been bolted to the stress-ribbons.
