Guangzhou TV moved its headquarter to the Pearl River in Guangzhou. Two identical cubes, positioned on a pedestal, are enclosed with a façade that is made of open and closed surfaces. A structure of triangular supports allows for the necessary extensive facilities such as TV studios. The transparent glazed facade is made of a cable net, which is pre-stressed horizontally and vertically. Where the cables intersect, clamps simultaneously clasp the cables and hold the glass panels at the corners.
